With the gracious blessings of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M.K. Stalin — who continues to champion the Dravidian model of governance with the noble vision of fostering equality, social justice, and brotherhood across the State — I had the privilege of extending my warm wishes and heartfelt congratulations to the newly appointed administrators of the Jumma Masjid Periya Pallivasal in Aravakurichi, Karur District. Their assumption of responsibilities marks a significant step in strengthening inclusive community leadership and promoting harmony within our society.

With the noble vision of building an egalitarian Tamil Nadu under the exemplary Dravidian model of good governance spearheaded by the Hon’ble Chief Minister, M.K. Stalin, I had the honour of participating in the Kumbabishekam ceremonies of Arulmigu Kasi Vinayagar Temple and Arulmigu Kasi Viswanathar Temple at Periya Kaliappalayam in Nerur North, Karur, held during this golden era of his people-centric governance.

Today, I had the privilege of warmly welcoming the Party’s esteemed General Secretary and Hon’ble Minister for Municipal Administration, Thiru. K.N. Nehru, during his visit to Karur.

On behalf of the people of the Karur Assembly Constituency, I wholeheartedly extend my sincere gratitude and profound respects to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M.K. Stalin, for his far-sighted vision, people-centric approach, and tireless commitment to uplifting every section of society. Under his dynamic leadership, our region has received a significant boost through the sanctioning of crucial drinking water development projects amounting to ₹12.32 crore — a remarkable step towards ensuring sustainable infrastructure and public well-being. These projects include a new drinking water scheme worth ₹3.01 crore at Kadapparai Panchayat, another major scheme costing ₹6.66 crore at Panchamadevi Panchayat, and a ₹2.65 crore water supply scheme drawing from the Mettupalayam underground reservoir to serve Manmangalam Panchayat. These transformative initiatives, aimed at addressing the long-standing drinking water needs of the people, will not only enhance access to clean and safe water but also improve public health, support local development, and uplift the overall quality of life for thousands of families in the Karur Union, marking yet another milestone in the journey of inclusive growth under his able governance.

Recognizing that the leadership of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thalapathy M.K. Stalin, is essential for the progress and upliftment of the State, members of the AIADMK from Ward 48, Thanthoni West, Karur Corporation, today renounced their party and formally embraced the Dravidian movement by joining our party, further strengthening its presence in Karur.

With the gracious blessings of the Party President and Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thalapathy M.K. Stalin, a meeting of party functionaries and cadres of the Karur Constituency, regarding the arrangements for the forthcoming DMK Grand Conference to be held in Karur on September 17, was conducted today in a highly successful manner at Prem Mahal, Karur. The meeting witnessed the active participation of local body representatives, party administrators, and dedicated cadres.

With the gracious blessings of the Party President and Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thalapathy M.K. Stalin, and under the guidance of the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and Youth Wing Secretary Thalapathy Udhayanidhi Stalin, the preparatory arrangements for the forthcoming DMK Grand Conference — the Party’s grand festival of principles — scheduled to be held in Karur on September 17, were reviewed today at Kodangipatti, Karur.

As part of the special camps under the Ungaludan Stalin scheme, launched by the Party President and Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thalapathy M.K. Stalin, with the noble vision of ensuring that Government services reach every household, a special camp was held today at the Mullai Nagar playground, North Gandhigram, Karur City. During the camp, petitions were received directly from the local residents. The event witnessed the participation of Karur District Collector Thiru. Thangavel, I.A.S., representatives of local bodies, and members of the public.

As per the directive of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thalapathy M.K. Stalin, under the Makkalai Thedi Maruthuvam scheme that brings healthcare to the people, a Cancer Screening Camp for the sanitary workers of Karur City Municipal Corporation was jointly organized today by the Karur Corporation and the Rotary Club of Karur, and was formally inaugurated with due significance.

Recognizing that the leadership of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thalapathy M.K. Stalin, is vital for the State’s progress, several key AMMK functionaries from Iranamangalam Panchayat, Kulithalai East Union, have today embraced the Dravidian movement and joined our Party. Among them are Thirumathi Nirosha (District Deputy Secretary & AMMK Candidate – Kulithalai Assembly Constituency, 2021), Thirumathi Latha Ravi (District IT Wing Secretary), Thiru. Muthukumar (Union Deputy Secretary), Thiru. Ravi, Thiru. Venkatesh (Panchayat Secretary, Iranamangalam), Thiru. Rajiv, Thiru. Saravanan, Thiru. Parthiban, Thiru. Duraimurugan, Thiru. Panneer, Thirumathi Valli Ravi, Thirumathi Revathi, and Thirumathi Muthulakshmi. Their inclusion further strengthens the Party’s presence and resolve in the Kulithalai region.
