With the gracious blessings of our Party President and Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thalapathy M.K. Stalin, and under the able guidance of the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and Youth Leader Udhayanidhi Stalin, who tirelessly works to nurture world-class athletes from Tamil Nadu, I had the honor today of witnessing the inter-collegiate Kabaddi tournament held at Kongu Arts and Science College, Karur, affiliated with Bharathidasan University. The event showcased the extraordinary sporting talent and competitive spirit of young athletes, with students from numerous colleges participating enthusiastically over the course of the two-day tournament. I also had the privilege of felicitating the victorious players, acknowledging their hard work, determination, and commitment to excellence, while celebrating the role of sports in fostering teamwork, discipline, and holistic development among Tamil Nadu’s youth.

Today, I had the honor of meeting our Party’s Youth Wing Secretary, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, and our dynamic young leader, Udhayanidhi Stalin, to whom I extended, on behalf of the people of Karur District and the Karur District DMK, our deepest gratitude and heartfelt thanks for his gracious presence and inspiring participation at the historic DMK Grand Conference held in Karur.

With the gracious blessings of our Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thalapathy M.K. Stalin, and under the inspiring guidance of our Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, the dynamic youth leader Udhayanidhi Stalin, who tirelessly works with the noble vision of nurturing world-class athletes from Tamil Nadu, I had the privilege today of witnessing the first-ever Day & Night Cricket Tournament organized by Viru Turf in Karur. On behalf of the Karur District DMK, a total prize amount of ₹4.25 lakhs is being awarded to the winning teams, encouraging sporting excellence and celebrating the spirit of youth.

As a true leader committed to the welfare of the common people, and in accordance with the directives of our Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thalapathy M.K. Stalin, under the inspiring guidance of our Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and our beacon of hope, Udhayanidhi Stalin, the Coimbatore South District DMK organized a grand public meeting at Kalaignar Grounds, Karumathampatti, Coimbatore. This gathering, held as part of the historic “One Tamil Nadu Movement” and supported by over one crore families, unanimously endorsed the powerful resolution “We Will Never Let Tamil Nadu Bow Its Head”, reaffirming our collective resolve to protect the soil, language, and dignity of Tamil Nadu. The event, presided over by Coimbatore South District Secretary Thalapathy Murugesan, featured a welcome address by Karumathampatti Town Secretary Nithya Manoharan, with special addresses delivered by Hon’ble Erode East MLA V.C. Chandrakumar and Chief Party Spokesperson Saravanan Manivel. The meeting witnessed the enthusiastic participation of Hon’ble Members of Parliament, party administrators, representatives of local bodies, DMK cadres, and the general public, making it a resounding success.

Recognizing that the progress of Tamil Nadu rests on the visionary leadership of our Party President and Hon’ble Chief Minister, Thalapathy M.K. Stalin, several distinguished personalities and members from Karur District today joined the DMK. Among them were Thiru. Arasilangumari, former Panchayat President of Koyampalli Panchayat, Thiru. Subramanian, Thiru. Rasu, former AIADMK MGR Forum Union Secretary of Thanthonimalai, along with AIADMK members Thiru. Arasukumar, Thiru. Vivek, Thiru. Ashok, Thiru. Rathinam, Thirumathi. Kausalya, Thirumathi. Deepa, Thirumathi. Viji, Thirumathi. Amudha, Thirumathi. Periyakkaal, Thirumathi. Pradeepa, Thirumathi. Pachiyammal, Thirumathi. Eswari, Thirumathi. Vembayi, Thirumathi. Sampooranam, Thirumathi. Raasathi, Thirumathi. Kausalya, Thiru. Paramasivam, Thirumathi. Janaki Sasikumar, and many others. Their decision to embrace the DMK’s progressive vision reflects the growing faith of the people in the Dravidian Model of governance.

Stalin, and under the inspiring guidance of the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and Youth Leader Udhayanidhi Stalin — who tirelessly strives to nurture world-class sports talent from Tamil Nadu — I had the privilege of inaugurating today the First Annual Kabaddi Tournament, jointly organized by the Periyandankovil Kuditheru DMK Branch and the Udhaya Brothers Kabaddi Team at Karur.

In accordance with the directive of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thalapathy M.K. Stalin, the architect of the celebrated Dravidian Model of governance, and under the guidance of the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Youth Leader of Tamil Nadu, Thiru. Udhayanidhi Stalin, a historic public meeting was held today at the 80 Feet Road in Karur. In this grand gathering, addressed by our Party’s Deputy General Secretary and Leader of the DMK Parliamentary Party in the Rajya Sabha, Thiru. Tiruchi N. Siva, over one crore families who have united under the movement “Tamil Nadu in One Voice” and pledged through the resolution “I Will Not Allow Tamil Nadu to Bow Down” came together in solidarity. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Hon’ble MLAs, Party administrators, local body representatives, dedicated cadres, and the general public, reflecting the unyielding resolve to safeguard the soil, language, and dignity of Tamil Nadu.

I had the honor of meeting today in Chennai our esteemed Party President and Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thalapathy M.K. Stalin, to whom I conveyed, on behalf of the people of Karur District and the District DMK, our heartfelt gratitude for graciously granting us the privilege of hosting the historic DMK Grand Conference in Karur — a moment of great pride and responsibility for us all.

Under the visionary governance of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thalapathy M.K. Stalin, a true champion of public welfare, I today reviewed the ongoing completion works at the upgraded Government Head Hospital in Kulithalai, Karur District, a project valued at ₹40 crore, accompanied by the Hon’ble Minister for Medical and Public Welfare, Thiru M. Subramanian, highlighting our commitment to enhancing healthcare infrastructure for the people.

With the blessings of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thalapathy M.K. Stalin, a true patron of weavers, and on behalf of the Karur Division Textile Department, I had the honor today of jointly inaugurating the Oasis Fabric Park in Kodangipatti, Karur District, alongside the Hon’ble Minister for Handlooms and Textiles, Thiru R. Gandhi, marking a significant milestone in empowering local weavers and promoting sustainable textile development.
